Revive U.S. Again

All through the nightmare of Brett Kavanaugh’s mock trial (resembling the Salem Witch Trials),  I signed and shared every petition that I could get my hands on and prayed for Judge Kavanaugh to be confirmed in the hopes that he would actually have the opportunity to vote for Personhood to be restored to the unborn.

I praised God when he was finally confirmed with all my pro-life friends who believed that nothing that occurred in the Senate that week was actually about Kavanaugh; it was instead about abortion. Truly, the hearing was a disgrace that turned jurisprudence on its head. Kavanaugh was right to say that it destroyed his family, although miraculously only for a week. Brian Banks was not so fortunate. If we continue to use character assassination rather than evidence to “prove” guilt, then we are all in danger.

After the confirmation, LifeNews, my goto source that I faithfully share in my blog, EmpowerShop ProLife (Abolitionist Arise) enumerated the following toasts to Kavanaugh:

  • “Today’s Senate vote is a victory for Judge Kavanaugh, and for the President, but also for the rule of law – it is a victory for all who believe that the federal courts should enforce the rights truly based on the text and history of the Constitution, and otherwise leave policy questions in the hands of elected legislators,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life.
  • Jeanne Mancini, President of March for Life: “Today the United States Supreme Court has gained an exceptional Justice in Brett Kavanaugh. March for Life is grateful to Justice Kavanaugh and his family for persevering through this most difficult confirmation process. We are also grateful to President Trump for delivering on his campaign promise to nominate a fair and independent judge who faithfully adheres to the Constitution.”
  • “History was made today as Brett Kavanaugh overcame an unimaginable smear campaign to be confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court. For the first time in decades, this nomination — his nomination — brought with it the reality of returning to a truly constitutionalist court. Many on the Left couldn’t stand such a thought. And for that, he and his family have paid a tremendous price.” Family Research Council President Tony Perkins
  • “We congratulate Justice Kavanaugh on his well-deserved and hard-earned confirmation. The balance of the Supreme Court has shifted back toward one that respects the will of the voters expressed through their representatives – a resounding victory for American people, who overwhelmingly trusted President Trump to choose Supreme Court nominees. As Justice Kavanaugh takes his seat on the bench of the nation’s highest court alongside Justice Neil Gorsuch, we are confident he will continue to rule with the same fairness and independence that have characterized his entire legal career. We thank President Trump for keeping his promise, as well as Leader McConnell and Chairman Grassley for their steadfast commitment to the truth and support for Kavanaugh.” SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser

In September 2016, Attorney Bradley Pierce addressed the argument that to end abortion we should vote for Republican presidential nominees in order to overturn Roe v. Wade. In doing so, Pierce calls Christians across America to repent of putting more faith in princes than in God. This talk was given at the Stand Fast in the Faith conference hosted by Forge Ministries.

He explained the history of the court under Republican influence and it was very eye-opening to realize that this is certainly not the key to our relief from child sacrifice in America.

Therefore, I urge that we do not stop praying because God, and God alone, can change hearts. This is what is required for abortion to end in America. The evidence is overwhelming: we cannot put our confidence in a political party or the press or even in a sincere writer such as myself; we must trust in God and God alone to “Make America Great Again”.

So, where do we go from here, America? On October 7, I joined citizens across the country who participated in the National Life Chain repenting and praying for an end to abortion, our national sin. I stood with Michele Herzog and many others who have stood faithfully as a voice for the voiceless. I chose my place on the sidewalk for that hour because I wanted to be with my friends who sing and praise God in the storm and in the face of persecution. Let’s just say that I’d rather be seeing the beautiful birds in Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive than on University Drive near the University of Central Florida.

My vantage point was between a Planned Parenthood (recently accused of profiting from the sale of aborted baby parts) and, to my surprise, World of Beer. Ironically, the videos by The Center of Medical Progress have been censored and David Daleiden, the courageous investigator who uncovered this travesty is on trial rather than Planned Parenthood. Perhaps this is because the FDA in an effort to humanize-mice was actually one of the customers who purchased those baby parts. Sadly, the parts are from “babies”, but the victims are not human until they are dead.

I heard Michele answer the question about what she hoped to accomplish through Pro-life Action Ministries, and asked if I could record her response:

On Sunday, Pastor Hardy, Magnolia Baptist, shared that he wondered if anyone actually considered the lost potential of the 60 million (and counting) who have been murdered in America? The cures, the inventions, the lost potential of so many lives that have been destroyed in the name of convenience; or as one parent heading to her abortion laughed, “But, I don’t want this baby!”

That is where we are, America. Will the newest Supreme Court Justice, Brett Kavanaugh, turn the tide? Only if we restore Personhood. This will only happen if we repent, America, and pray for revival.

2 Chronicles 7:14 Amplified Bible (AMP):

14 and My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.

I’ll go first… Will you join me?

Life begins at conception. Abortion is legalized murder.
