BIAS: Media outlet refers to ‘unborn babies’ – but only when discussing wanted pregnancies

Back in December, British online news source The Guardian published a story with a notable headline, reading, “Microplastics revealed in the placentas of unborn babies.” The article sounded the alarm about a study that found tiny plastic particles in the placentas of pregnant women. These particles, the study authors claimed, might harm babies.
