Justified Homicide

Regarding the Pregnancy and Parenting Support Bill (SB300, HB7)

This bill is not a pro-life bill or a personhood bill. It offers funds to pregnancy centers which are often sponsored by Christian organizations and staffed by believers, yet, the analysis states:

“State-funded pregnancy support services and wellness services must be provided in a noncoercive manner and may not include any religious content.”

My other concern is that nobody outside the clinic can ascertain for certain if a woman is past 6 (or 15 weeks). The mother has no motive to expose an abortionist that she has hired to murder her child, and the abortionist/clinic isn’t inspected to confirm legal limits are being obeyed. There is no oversight or room for enforcement visible in my non-professional analysis. I think this information needs to be clarified or it is just a nice-sounding bill to possibly save a few more babies and gain votes.

Here is the information that I provided to several representatives whom I was led to believe are pro-life:

I’m very sad that I was unable to share my concerns during the hearing that I was present for since the group had to move on before I was called. I have forwarded most of my comments to those in the House who call yourselves “pro-life”.

13 states have outlawed nearly all abortions. Further study is needed to see how this is achieved.

Also, the bill claims to stop women from being funded to travel outside the state to receive an abortion. We have unfortunately seen a large number of license plates from other states (probably the aforementioned) that are adding abortion to their Florida vacation.

My team leader, Michele Herzog, Pro-Life Action Ministries, and I have attempted to reach out to you. We haven’t received a reply, unfortunately. I hope by using this format that we will hear from you soon both personally and with information about the best co-sponsor to reach out to since Sen. Grall is no longer in office.

Citing this act as the “Heartbeat Protection Act”; requiring the Department of Health to contract for the management and delivery of parenting support services, in addition to pregnancy support services; prohibiting physicians from knowingly performing or inducing a termination of pregnancy after the gestational age of the fetus is determined to be more than 6 weeks, rather than 15 weeks, with exceptions; providing an exception if the woman obtaining the abortion is doing so because she is a victim of rape, incest, or human trafficking, subject to certain conditions; requiring that medications intended for use in a medical abortion be dispensed in person by a physician, etc. APPROPRIATION: $30,000,000

FLORIDA SENATE PASSES HEARTBEAT PROTECTION ACT

Legislation protects innocent life, supports families
“This amendment tells women and pregnant people along with their doctors that we trust them to decide what’s best for their health and access that care here,” said Senator Lori Berman.

Abolish Abortion, Florida was an article that I posted in 2022 when Drake Wuertz was running for office. Unfortunately, he didn’t win his race. However, the article included a proposed amendment for abolition (written by an abolitionist) called The EPIC Act along with a petition: Demand to Abolish Abortion in Florida.

Yesterday, I sent the following appeal to the House members who are identified as pro-life. I ask that you also contact them a.s.a.p.:

  • Jenna.Persons@myfloridahouse.gov
  • Jennifer.Canady@myfloridahouse.gov
  • Webster.Barnaby@myfloridahouse.gov
  • Mike.Beltran@myfloridahouse.gov
  • David.Borrero@myfloridahouse.gov
  • Berny.Jacques@myfloridahouse.gov
  • doug.bankson@myfloridahouse.gov

I am contacting you to humbly request that as pro-life representatives, you will refuse to pass The Heartbeat Bill (SB 300/HB 7).

Since it is well known that life begins at fertilization (conception), it is justified homicide to claim that a heartbeat is a point at which a person should be acknowledged as worthy of protection from murder. Since it is impossible to justify anything that is considered illegal, this makes no sense.

According to an article by Abrams Justice:

Justifiable Homicide and excusable homicide are terms that are often used interchangeably. However, they are distinct in many ways. In the context of justifiable homicide, the killing of one human being by another person is authorized and commanded by law. With excusable homicide, it involves killings of human beings which are not deserving of punishment. In other words, excusable homicides are killings that result from accidents or are done by persons who lack the capacity to commit crimes, such as children.

Abortion may fall under “Justifiable Homicide” since it is the authorized killing of one human being by another authorized by law. It is not excusable homicide except in the first part of the definition (the human being was not deserving of punishment), because the crime is not committed by those who lack the capacity to commit these crimes.

Please represent future citizens (who if given the opportunity) would no doubt make wonderful contributions to our society.

I am not unsympathetic to those who are facing a crisis whether physical, emotional, or financial. Personhood legislation should include help with pregnancy expenses and with adoption, if the parents agree that this is best, and counseling to help deal with the emotions connected with an unplanned pregnancy carried to birth.

However, I am distressed about the so-called help for pregnancy centers in the bills listed above. Since most pregnancy centers are operated by churches and Christians, the fact that the analysis of the bill precludes the sharing of the Gospel, (the best hope for humanity) and the best argument for a woman to choose life for her child (avoiding blood on her hands).

I’m a sidewalk counselor at a clinic in Altamonte Springs. I warn the Uber/Lyft Drivers who are kind enough to take my brochure offering help to those they bring to the clinic that they are profiting from this crime against humanity. Surely, as legislators, you must realize that you will also answer the question: Why did you ignore the Personhood of pre-born children in Florida when you were in office in order to protect them?

Here is some vital information that Michele Herzog (Pro-Life Action Ministries in Central Florida) shared on Facebook before the Senate considered this bill:

***URGENT CALL TO ACTION!!! SET THE UNBORN FREE!!!
The senate reconvenes today and will be holding hearings all day on SB 300, (Protection of Unborn Children in Florida After 6-Weeks’ Gestation).
Were you aware that from 2017-2022, 311,628 unborn children at 6 weeks or less gestational age were sentenced to death in Florida by abortion?
Did you also know that after passing the 15-week ban, the number of abortions committed in the state of Florida have increased? The Republican supermajority of the 2023 Florida Legislature is comprised of 28 Senators. Only 21 Senators are needed to amend and pass a bill.
***Please email all the Republican Senators (their addresses are at the bottom), and tell them politely, but firmly to AMEND SECTION 3 OF SB 300, and instead protect ALL citizens regardless of their age! Plead with them to amend Florida Bill 300 for the sake of the unborn little babes!
***Additionally, the unwarranted $5 million appropriation for the Department of Health’s family planning program must be removed from section 7 of the bill. This provision is not included in the House companion legislation. Taxpayer money should not go towards funding contraception and possible abortifacients.

Feel free to use some or all of these talking points:
I back most of Senate Bill 300. However, I respectfully request that you amend section 3 of the bill so that ALL Unborn children are legally protected in Florida….DECLARE THE UNBORN PERSONS!
LIFE begins at conception – not at the moment a heartbeat is detectable, which is around 6 weeks gestation, (actually, our heart starts beating at 18-21 days). Biological science indicates that LIFE begins at the moment of fertilization, not at 6 weeks gestation. This fact is not a matter of individual morality. Legislation should protect ALL Unborn babies, not dehumanize and judge those under six weeks unworthy to live.
According to Agency for Healthcare Administration, 311,628 Unborn children at 6 weeks or less gestational age were put to death in Florida by abortion from 2017 – 2022.
It is in your control to stop this age-related genocide!!!!
Tell them that we believe in miracles and are continuously praying that God will inspire them to vote as He would. Surely, God would not vote to put Unborn children to death.
***PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO PRAY FOR THESE SENATORS THAT THEY WILL DO THE RIGHT THING AND SET THE UNBORN FREE!
***Enough of using the unborn as political pawns in a political game!***
Thank you for your attention to my appeal. I am praying for you!

Life begins at conception. Abortion is legalized murder.
