Warren, Biden call for law to protect abortion rights

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) called for a law to protect abortion rights when asked at the Democratic primary debate on Friday if they believed there should be a litmus test on the issue for Supreme Court nominees.

Falling from the lead in the race from the Democrat Party presidential nomination, Joe Biden has to figure out some method of attracting voters in an increasingly left-wing party. During Friday night’s debate, Biden had a one-liner that he hoped would solidify his standing with abortion advocates.
