Mississippi state senators advanced legislation Wednesday to protect unborn babies from discrimination based on their race, sex or disabilities. The Mississippi news outlet Y’all Politics reports the Life Equality Act (state House Bill 1295) passed in a 33-11 vote and now moves back to the state House for final approval.
