One Baby Saved, Others Murdered for Same Condition
Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis was praised for its first in-utero surgery of a pre-born baby diagnosed with a severe form of spina bifida. The surgery was performed by the hospital’s director of fetal surgery, Dr. Hiba Mustafa. The groundbreaking surgery made a small maternal skin incision, reducing risks to both mother and baby compared to traditional fetal surgery methods. This was an amazing accomplishment by both hospital staff and Dr. Mustafa. However, it is worth noting that this same hospital is the leading abortion provider in Indiana. Sadly, Dr. Mustafa has been on record aborting children with the same condition that she saved here. The hospital’s reporting did not provide a gestational age of the baby, but did report that his surgery was successful.
