Congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez sparked outrage again Thursday when she claimed that the largest abortion chain in America “saves” babies’ lives. Ocasio-Cortez, a pro-abortion Democrat socialist from New York, defended Planned Parenthood during a U.S. House Oversight Committee hearing on maternal health disparities in the African American community.

For decades, the abortion chain hid its life-destroying work behind rhetoric about health care and women’s rights. It repeated the debunked statistic that abortions are only 3 percent of what it does.
