“The Human Life Protection Amendment will protect our preborn brothers and sisters from the moment of fertilization. This amendment also recognizes the value of every human life regardless of the circumstances of conception. My biological mother was raped as a teenager. I am grateful that my life was protected by law in the state of Michigan decades ago.
