When news surfaced that Interim Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Kyle Diamantas would be replacing Marty Makary, who resigned yesterday, pro-life advocates were concerned. Makary had ignored how the abortion pill has killed millions of babies and injured thousands of women – potentially slow-walking a study meant to limit or prohibit its use.

The man who will at least temporarily replace Marty Makary as the FDA Commissioner may be worse. While pro-life groups called for Makary’s firing because he refused to put limits in place on the dangerous abortion pill mifepristone, his new replacement may be even less inclined to limit abortion drugs.
