Aborting America

What does the Pledge of Allegiance mean? Let’s review with the help of our all-time favorite entertainer Red Skelton:

One thing is certain about Americans: We believe in personal choice/preference and defend our diverse individual beliefs. We have actually become so diverse that our main political parties, Democrat vs. Republican are actually the opposite of one another. According to Biblical Voter, we disagree on at least seven key issues:

  1. Life & Abortion
  2. Marriage, Family & Society
  3. Education
  4. 2nd Amendment
  5. Support for Israel
  6. Climate Change & Environmental Policy
  7. Religious Freedom and Repeal of the Johnson Amendment

The irony of this particular election, unfortunately, is that it is claimed that if the Democratic Party led by Joe Biden and running mate, Kamala Harris, wins, we may never be allowed to have another election, again. In fact, those who supported the opposite candidate, President Donald J. Trump, may be ostracized. This whole election season has been marked by violent protest and vehement rhetoric.

Although the project is apparently on hold/cancelled, it is appalling that it existed at all:

The Trump Accountability Project was started because we believe restoring democratic norms are vital to protecting America’s future. A critical part of making sure the nation never finds itself in this position again is to make sure those members of the Trump administration responsible for loosening the guardrails of our democracy are not rewarded with book deals, TV contracts, or six-figure salaries in the private sector based on that experience. Ultimately, however, the goal of the project was to play a part in restoring the soul of the nation, and we’ll follow President-elect Biden’s lead to get us there.

in the spirit of the President-elect’s call to build a more united country, this project will no longer be active.

Statement from the Trump Accountability Project

I’m sure that everything is fine now; don’t worry. Hakuna Matata.

It isn’t the first time that we’ve experienced the threat of ostracization and it won’t be the last, unfortunately. In fact, censorship has rendered many of us who call ourselves “pro-life” to seem silent (even if we are the majority).

Fact-checkers have begun to protect Americans from thinking for ourselves. Surely, that would be too much for us! We need Dorsey & Zuckerberg to protect us, right? No! I agree with Senator Ted Cruz:

“There are a great many Americans who I would say are deeply concerned that Facebook and other tech companies are engaged in a pervasive pattern of bias and political censorship,” said Senator Ted Cruz.

Don’t think that censorship is only happening on social media and the press, either. Did you know that it is currently happening on sidewalks and that chalk is a dangerous weapon in the hands of pro-lifers?

We are seeing incredible opposition to the pro-life speech of our students as they speak for the most marginalized and defenseless among us.Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins.

“The Constitution guarantees the right to peacefully express our views in the public square. If there is disagreement over contentious issues, the answer is always more speech, not censorship, fines, or jail time.”

In 2018, the U.S. Supreme Court wrote in its decision in National Institute of Family and Life Advocates v. Becerra that “the people lose when the government is the one deciding which ideas should prevail.”

President Trump honored the one-year anniversary of NIFLA v. Becerra decision at 2019 Faith & Freedom Coalition:

Indeed, America is torn on the issue of abortion. Ironically, abortion may be the means of aborting America herself.

Let’s review some of the campaign promises of so-called President-Elect Joe Biden:

I could go on with further evidence, but as I stated in my previous article, Choose Life, America, the battle is not just for the unborn, but for America. In fact, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi hate American babies so much that they promise to allow abortion/infanticide until birth and beyond.

We’ve been told that in some states, the race between President Trump and Joe Biden has been too close to call. Recounts and appeals may shed new light on that issue, we pray. Unless the President remains in office, however, we will have to face the fact that America did not choose life and will eventually be aborted. Already, the civil rights that our forefathers have fought and died for have eroded significantly:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

First Amendment of the United States Constitution

Perhaps, Congress has not made laws that cancel American freedom thus far. Yet, many restrictions, arrests, and censorship issues are happening that have the same affect until they are adjudicated. We are told where to go, what to say, and even what to believe (according to the fact-checkers).

Calling America’s current political battle the nation’s biggest crisis since the Civil War, Prager concluded his remarks by urging the faithful to get politically involved and invoking Psalm 97:10: “Let those who love the Lord hate evil.”

Dennis Prager: YouTube censored my 10 Commandments video for ‘discussing murder’

In 1973, we convinced ourselves that abortion fell from the list of crimes against humanity (murder) to a simple civil choice thus making it possible for women to falsely claim that a baby growing in her womb was her property and could be disposed of in the name of convenience. Perhaps, we should take another look since I believe that unless we choose to stand for the voiceless and allow abortion to continue and, in fact, to expand to include infanticide, we will see the death of America.

In an essay called “Abortion: A Crime Against Humanity”, sixteen-year old Audrey Seghers, wrote:

The ultimate consequence of not ending this abortion holocaust is terminating our nation as we know it. Abortion is a deadly cancer. If we don’t put a stop to abortion it will continue to eat away at the fabric of our nation. The United States of America will crumble just as the Roman Empire was destroyed by its corruption. When a country does not defend the right of innocent life, all other rights ultimately become meaningless.

According to Christianity Today, President Dwight D. Eisenhower, America’s 34th president, who added the phrase “Under God” to our Pledge of Allegiance, asked:

“How far have we come in man’s long pilgrimage from darkness toward light? Are we nearing the light – a day of freedom and of peace for all mankind? Or are the shadows of another night closing in upon us?”

America, “Do not go gentle into that good night” (Dylan Thomas – 1914-1953) Join me and many other Christians who are still praying for America to remain “One nation under God” which implies that we will answer to God for our actions individually and nationally.

While I hope that President Trump will continue to hold office for four more years, I will also share this from President Eisenhower’s speech:

“Never let yourself be persuaded that any one Great Man, any one leader, is necessary to the salvation of America. When America consists of one leader and 158 million followers, it will no longer be America.”

Instead, we have this hope:

Life begins at conception. Abortion is legalized murder.
